Wednesday, was the first full day our parents were here. We decided to just walk around various areas in London to just give them an overview. We went to Covent Garden, one of our favorite spots. There we shopped at the market and ate at Wahlburgers for lunch. Then we walked down to the River Thames and to Embankment Park. From there we walked towards Parliament and all the other government buildings in Whitehall. We saw a Brexit protest and Taxis lining the road completely blocking a whole intersection. It was very weird but kind of cool to see streets empty minus the black cabs. After that we headed over to Westminster Abbey. We also went over to the London Eye and some other cool spots in London. We ended up walking about 9 miles that day. We could not decide where to eat dinner that night. We ended up passing a Japanese Curry place that had a line out the door. We figured it must be good and dad made the decision that we would be eating there. It was a great choice because it was amazing. At least dad and Syd thought so. Sam ordered chicken nuggets, she is very adventurous with food so she did not have much of an opinion on the place and mom thought it was okay. After dinner we all met up with the flatmates at one of our favorite pubs, flight club. We had a few drinks and watched some of our friends play darts. It had been a long day so we decided to go back home and plan tomorrow! It is so fun having our parents here! -SYD & SAM
